Debbie and the Glitter Girls know more than just beautiful jewelry; they know about relationships. They have taken the time to get to know me, my new husband and especially what I like – so much so, they are on the lookout for pieces they think I might like. They are always happy to see their customers when they come in and they seem to know them all by name. Those are the special touches that Glitters brings to the relationship. They make me want to come back again and again.

We first visited Glitters in 1988 when we lived in Overland Park, KS. It was ‘love at first sight’. Not for my wife and myself (that is a given) but for the way we were treated. Customer service, to those that worked there, could be expressed in one word, friendship. That is how it began and how it has remained for 22 years.
As a man who loves his wife very much, I have always wanted a jeweler that would know what my wife was looking for with just some basic information from us. I found that with Glitters and their all female staff that this was an easy proposal for any one of them. Our particular favorite, Patti, can show us two or three items; give my wife her thoughts on what the significance of each is then let us decide. We rarely bring more items into the mix as the ones she has picked are what we have envisioned. Though we will discuss the pros and cons of all of the choices, we usually choose the one that Patti had brought out first. The one that she felt would be the best look for my wife?
Before Glitters, I was always a bit concerned that male jewelers tried to guide my wife to a particular piece. Although, we may have ended up purchasing that one, we were never really ‘totally’ satisfied with it. We may have liked it very much, but we sometimes had that nagging feeling there was something better. We have never felt like this upon leaving with a Glitters purchase. I also feel more at home in Glitters than I have at any other store. A bit like a king buying for his queen.
Why have we come to Glitters from Kansas, Texas and Illinois when there were so many stores so close to our homes at these locations? Why do we travel hundreds of miles creating a celebration during the trip? Well, if you don’t understand by now, you need to experience it for yourself!
